R. Long Engineering, P.C. Bidding documents are available through QuestCDN.com.

ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS FOR

NORTH, WEST, 4TH, 5TH, BARBER & STONEBACK STREETS

FOR

WARE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

 

Sealed proposals will be received by the Ware County Board of Commissioners at 305 Oak Street, Waycross, Georgia 31501, in Suite 227 until 2:00 P.M. local time on Thursday, May 30, 2019, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read. No submitted bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days.

The work to be done includes the construction of roadway improvements for North, West, 4th, 5th, Barber, and Stoneback Streets. The proposed work includes grading, installation of base and paving and drainage improvements. The length of roadway improvements for North Street and West Street is approximately 6,079 linear feet. The length of roadway improvements for 4th is approximately 1,348 linear feet. The length of roadway improvements for 5th is approximately 835 linear feet. The length of roadway improvements for Barber Street is approximately 1,344 linear feet. The length of roadway improvements for Stoneback Street is approximately 3,040 linear feet.

 

Proposals for the complete work in one or more general contracts shall be made on the proposal form provided and shall contain prices in words and figures for the work bid. All proposals shall he accompanied by a Bid Bond drawn in favor of the Ware County, Georgia, in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the lump sum bid for the complete work; such Bid Bond representing that the Bidder, if awarded the contract will promptly enter into a contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bond as provided by law and approved by the Attorney for the Ware County Board of Commissioners. Each bond shall be equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. The Bid Bond shall be forfeited to Ware County, Georgia as liquidated damages if the Bidder fails to execute the contract and provide Performance and Payment Bonds within ten (10) days after being notified that he has been awarded the contract.

 

Drawings and Specifications are open to public inspection at the Ware County Board of Commissioners, 305 Oak Street, Waycross, Georgia 31501, in Suite 227.

Sealed bids will be received by the Liberty County Board of Commissioners at 112 North Main Street, Hinesville, Georgia, until 10:00 a.m. local time on Tuesday, June 18, 2019, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read. No submitted bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days.

The work to be done consists of the repair and resurfacing of Rosalind Drive, Cornfield Avenue, portions of Pine Avenue and Lewis Frazier Road. The pavement overlay will include approximately 1,600 tons of asphalt.

 

Bids for the complete work in one or more general contracts shall be made on the bid form provided and shall contain prices in words and figures for the work bid. All bids shall he accompanied by a Bid Bond drawn in favor of the Liberty County Board of Commissioners, in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the lump sum bid for the complete work; such Bid Bond representing that the Bidder, if awarded the contract will promptly enter into a contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bond as provided by law and approved by the Attorney for the Liberty County Board of Commissioners. Sealed bids will be received by the Pierce County Board of Commissioners at 312 Nichols Street, Blackshear, Georgia, until 2:00 P.M. local time on Tuesday, June 18, 2019, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read. No submitted bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days.

The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment and labor for the construction of repairs/replacement of a failed box culvert along Laurel Chapel Road and the repair of a box culvert wing wall along West Horseshoe Road.

 

Bids for the complete work in one or more general contracts shall be made on the bid form provided and shall contain prices in words and figures for the work bid.
