Bidding information listed is intended to provide information to clients and contractors interested in proposing/bidding on the project advertised. Prospective bidders are responsible for obtaining official bid documents and registering as a bidder with T. R. Long Engineering, P.C.

INVITATION TO BID

1. SEALED BIDS: Sealed bids for construction of ELEVATED TANK AND APPURTENANCES will be received until 11:00 A.M. on April 7, 2021, in the Council Chambers at City Hall, Dudley, Georgia 31022-0315, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read.  No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days.
2. SCOPE OF WORK: The work shall consist of furnishing all products and performing all labor necessary to perform the following but not limited to: 
Construction of:
A. Elevated Storage Tank
B. And incidental construction for a complete installation
All Work shall be completed in accordance with the plans and specifications.  The Work will be awarded in one (1) Contract.
3. PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS AND CONTRACT DOCUMENTS: Sealed bids will be received by the City of Dudley at in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 1108 Main Street, Dudley, Georgia 31022 until 11:00 A.M. local time on March 31, 2021, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read. No submitted bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days. Drawings and Specifications are open to public inspection at the Dudley City Hall and at the office of T. R. Long Engineering, P.C.
Copies of the plans and specifications must be obtained from T. R. Long Engineering, 114 North Commerce Street, Hinesville, Georgia, 31313, upon receipt of $250.00. Such fees represent reproduction cost and are non-refundable. Bidders must purchase a Bid Packet to be a registered bidder. Only bids from registered bidders will be opened.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. 
4. CONTRACTOR LICENSE: Any Contractor submitting a bid must be licensed by the State of Georgia. License numbers must be written on the face of the bid envelope.  No bid will be opened unless it contains the Contractor's license number. See Instructions to Bidders for additional bidding requirements.
5. BONDS: Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified cashier’s check in an amount not less than 10% of the base bid.  All bonds shall be by a surety company licensed in Georgia with an “A” minimum rating of performance and a financial strength of at least five (5) times the contract price as listed in the most current publication of “Best’s Key Rating Guide Property Liability”.  Performance and Payment Bonds, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price shall be required of the successful bidder if contract is awarded.  Each Bond shall be accompanied by a “Power of Attorney” authorizing the attorney-in-fact to bind the surety and certified to include the date of the bond.
6. RESERVATION OF RIGHTS: Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation, the rights to reject any or all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced or conditional Bids and to reject the Bid of any Bidder if Owner believes that it would not be in the best interest of the Project to make an award to that Bidder, whether because the Bid is not responsive or the Bidder is unqualified or of doubtful financial ability or fails to meet any other pertinent standard or criteria established by the Owner.
7. PREBID MEETING: A Pre-Bid Conference will not be held.
8. FUNDING SOURCES: Funding is to be provided by the State Revolving Loan Fund Program which is administered by the Georgia Environmental Facilities Authority.

The work to be done consists of construction of roadway improvements to Cactus Street. The proposed work includes grading, installation of graded aggregate base, asphalt pavement and drainage improvements. The length of the roadway improvement is approximately 1,140 linear feet.
Bids for the complete work in one or more general contracts shall be made on the bid form provided and shall contain prices in words and figures for the work bid. All bids shall he accompanied by a Bid Bond drawn in favor of the WARE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the lump sum bid for the complete work; such Bid Bond representing that the Bidder, if awarded the contract will promptly enter into a contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bond as provided by law and approved by the Attorney for the WARE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS. The work to be done includes the construction of roadway improvements for Holmesville Road. The 
proposed work includes grading, installation of soil cement base, triple surface treatment with 
sand and drainage improvements. The length of roadway improvements is approximately 12,200 linear 
feet.
Bids for the complete work in one or more general contracts shall be made on the bid form provided 
and shall contain prices in words and figures for the work bid.  All bids shall he accompanied by a 
Bid Bond drawn in favor of the Wayne County Board of Commissioners, in the amount of at least five

Sealed bids will be received by the Liberty County Board of Commissioners at 112 North Main Street Hinesville, Georgia 31313 until 2:00 P.M. local time on April 29, 2021, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read. No submitted bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days.

The work to be done consists of the installation of concrete sidewalks and pads at various recreational facilities throughout Liberty County to improve ADA accessibility. In addition, the work will include the construction of sidewalks and a basketball court at Gill Park.

 

Bids for the complete work in one or more general contracts shall be made on the bid form provided and shall contain prices in words and figures for the work bid. All bids shall he accompanied by a Bid Bond drawn in favor of the Liberty County Board of Commissioners, in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the lump sum bid for the complete work; such Bid Bond representing that the Bidder, if awarded the contract will promptly enter into a contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bond as provided by law and approved by the Attorney for the Liberty County Board of Commissioners. Each bond shall be equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount.
