Since 2000, T. R. Long Engineering, P.C. has provided consulting engineering services in Southeast Georgia. We are proud to offer comprehensive services that include engineering, surveying, site development, land planning, design, construction observation, and construction administration. Our clients include city and county governments, industries, commercial developers, and private developers.
T. R. Long Engineering, P.C. has extensive experience in the design of roadways, drainage systems, water system engineering, wastewater engineering, and solid waste management and disposal facilities engineering. The firm offers complete engineering services starting with conceptual development of projects followed by planning, design, regulatory agency approval, and construction management.

Trent R. Long P.E.
T. R. Long Engineering, P.C., founded by Trent R. Long, P.E., was organized as a professional corporation on March 9, 1998, and began offering a full line of services on February 5, 2000. Since that time the firm has continuously been engaged in the practice of professional engineering. The owner of T. R. Long Engineering, P.C. is Trent R. Long, P.E. a native of the City of Hinesville.
T. R. Long Engineering, P.C. began providing professional engineering services on February 5, 2000, out of the home of Trent R. Long, P.E. Within three months the firm moved to an office located at the intersection of South Main Street and M. L. King, Jr. Drive. At that time the firm had one employee and was providing county engineering services to Liberty County and a few private clients. As the firm’s workload increased it outgrew the space on South Main Street and moved to its current location. In the spring of 2005, the firm added a survey crew to the staff to keep up with the demands of its clients. By 2007 T. R. Long Engineering, P.C. had grown to eight employees working on approximately eighty projects per year. In 2016 T. R. Long Engineering, P.C. added an office in Savannah, Georgia by merging with H+K Engineering. His firm is now working on more than 150 projects per year.
Joseph J. Stuckey III, PLS
Mr. Stuckey a longtime resident of Bulloch County, is the Manager of the Pooler Office, Project Land Surveyor and Engineering Designer at T.R. Long Engineering. Mr. Stuckey grew up in the surveying business. His father was a Registered Land Surveyor and owned Stuckey Land Surveying. Mr. Stuckey began his engineering career after college by working with EMC Engineering where he worked on numerous projects ranging from transportation projects to utility projects. After eighteen months of service, Mr. Stuckey accepted employment with James W. Buckley & Associates Architects and Engineers in Swainsboro, Georgia for 26 years. Mr. Stuckey focused on design of roadways, general site plans, water systems, drainage systems, sewerage systems, and school design. Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D software for site design. Conduct boundary and topographic surveys, preparing regulatory agency submittals, preparation and review of technical specifications and preparation of bid documents for various projects. In January of 2022, Mr. Stuckey started work with T.R. Long Engineering.

Amanda Harness P. E.
As a Civil and Environmental Engineer, Ms. Harness works on various site development projects. In 2008, she graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Master of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering, Water Resources. Ms. Harness is a license Professional Engineer and has eighteen years of experience. Her past experience includes environmental permitting, environmental sampling/monitoring/cleanup, environmental studies, site safety, quality control, hydrology studies, drainage plans, erosion control, dredging, and site development.

Danielle Easterling P. E.
As a Traffic Engineer at T. R. Long Engineering, P.C., Mrs. Easterling is responsible of transportation and traffic analysis and design primarily located in the southeast coastal Georgia. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and joined T. R. Long Engineering, P.C. in 2022. Mrs. Easterling is a licensed Professional Engineer and has 11 years of experience in traffic engineering, transportation, roadway design, and traffic studies for residential, commercial, mixed-use, industrial, and municipal developments. Her previous work experience includes employment with Georgia DOT – District 5 in Jesup for over 5 years in both Roadway Design and Traffic Operations.
Joseph “Jody” C. Riley P.L.S.
As a Registered Professional Land Surveyor, Mr. Riley can perform all aspects of survey-related duties from fieldwork to final plat, including client retention, courthouse research, fieldwork, data processing, drawing redlines, and final plat production. I can perform topographic, boundary, ALTA, as-built surveys, as well as construction staking from computation/layout to final plat. I have experience in job estimation, proposals, budget compliance, client interaction, etc. I exhibit excellent training and leadership qualities to enhance employee satisfaction and morale.
Rebecca Davis
Ms. Davis is a GIS Specialist and Lead CAD Operator at T. R. Long Engineering. She is responsible for drafting roadways, general site plans, minor subdivision design, boundary plats, and preparing submittals. Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and ESRI ArcGIS software for site design, road centerline information for Liberty County, and maintain information of the stormwater inventory for Liberty County and various government municipalities in Liberty County. Ms. Davis utilizes ArcGIS software in the creation of maps for NPDES reports, GDOT application
Keith R. Causeway
As Engineering Technician, Mr. Causeway performs project design, handles contract administration, and is the primary construction inspector on private, municipal, and county projects. Tasks include design and construction administration of roadway improvement projects, subdivision developments, commercial and NPDES stormwater inspections. In addition, Mr. Causeway had been the primary representative on multiple projects for the City of Port Wentworth including acting as the interim facility inspector while the city hired a qualified person to fill the position.
Michelle Adams
As an administrative assistant, Mrs. Adams is responsible for performing general clerical tasks on the behalf of the engineers, inspectors, and registered land surveyors to help them stay organized and complete tasks that allow them to focus on more advanced responsibilities. She also assists clients, contractors, and office visitors by handling a variety of tasks in order to ensure that all interactions between the organization and others are positive and productive.

Deborah Genard
Mrs. Genard is a general accountant for T. R. Long Engineering. She is responsible for handling our accounts receivables, accounts payable, and payroll functions. She joined the firm in June of 2019. She has a Master of Business Administration from Georgia State College & University, and Bachelor of Science in Accounting, and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from LeTourneau University.
Lynn Simmons
As the bookkeeper, Ms. Simmons helps our business to ensure accurate and efficient recording and management of its financial assets and liabilities. She also assists our administrative assistant, Mrs. Adams, with handling a variety of tasks like researching property deeds and plats for survey requests.
