Project Details

Wacona Drive is located in Waycross, Georgia. This project involved the reconstruction of the intersection of US Highway 1 and Wacona Drive to accommodate a school zone and new turn lanes for access to the adjacent Wacona Elementary School. This project included roadway widening, asphalt overlay, modifications of signals, addition of school zone beacons, minor drainage modifications, and coordination with the CSX Railroad. T. R. Long Engineering, P.C. was responsible for design, permitting, construction observation, and contract administration.
