Mr. Long and T. R. Long Engineering, P.C. have been working on park improvements at the Liberty Independent Troop Park located on Highway 84 in Hinesville for over 26 years. In fact, the football field is named the Long/Bell Stadium after Mr. Long’s father who started the recreation department in the 1960s. Mr. Long designed the improvements to reconstruct the enclosed pavilion at Liberty Independent Troop Park in the late 1990s. Later Mr. Long designed the complete reconstruction of the baseball fields at Liberty Independent Troop Park including asphalt parking and drainage improvements. Mr. Long has designed the conversion of the old tennis courts into basketball courts as well as the skate park. The engineering fees for these improvements were incorporated into our contract with Liberty County to perform the County Engineer function and were not specifically itemized.
